I bought it for the experience, I'll but it again for the taste.

I'd Drink It When:  You want to have a beer no one else has tried before.  It tasted great.  Bring it to a BBQ

Alexander Keith's Nova Scotia Style Lager

Brewed by: A. Keith Brewing Company
Country of Origin: United States

Beer Style: Lager

Ratings (1-10 scale) and notes:
Aroma: 6 (not too strong)
Appearance: 6 (looks dark and inviting)
Taste: 8 (I love it)
Body: 5 (not too light)
Finish: 7 (refreshing)

General Notes:
This stuff is great.  5.4% alcohol, so packs a little more punch than your typical lager.

I'd Drink It When:  I wanted a beer for all occasions.  Pairs well with food, light on the stomach, and tastes great.

Jeremiah Weed Lightning Lemonade

Brewed by: Jeremiah Weed Co.
Country of Origin: United States

Beer Style: Malt Beverage

Ratings (1-10 scale) and notes:
Aroma: 3 (sweet like lemonade)
Appearance: 2 (looks unassuming)
Taste: 6 (sweet, without all that 'malt' flavor some of these tend to have)
Body: 2 (not the goal here)
Finish: 5 (refreshing)
Price/Value: 8 (at $5.49/6-pack)
Total Beer Guy Score: 24/60

General Notes:
Refreshing - but too much can upset the stomach.  I wouldn't mix with much in the way of a heavy meal.

I'd Drink It When:  Good fit for hot weather, but be careful.  At 5.8% alcohol by volume, this stuff hits like a hammer.  I drank six, and it was plenty.....

Samuel Adams Boston Lager

Brewed by: Boston Beer Compay
Country of Origin: United States

Beer Style: Vienna Lager

Ratings (1-10 scale) and notes:
Aroma: 7 (not much at all)
Appearance: 7 (built for easy drinking)
Taste: 8 (watery)
Body: 5 (typical for beer of this style)
Finish: 7 (not much at all.....)
Price/Value: 7 (at $5.99/6-pack)
Total Beer Guy Score: 41/60

General Notes:
One of my favorites - a microbrew-turned -macrobrew.  Widely adopted in restaurants and bars, and available almost anywhere.  This is a great beer.

I'd Drink It When:  I'll always order with dinner, or when I need to bring beer to a small gathering.  A little strong for feminine palates, but pairs well with all kinds of food.  Can be a little filling.

Bud Light

Brewed by: Anheuser-Busch
Country of Origin: United States

Beer Style: American Lager

Ratings (1-10 scale) and notes:
Aroma: 2 (not much at all)
Appearance: 3 (built for easy drinking)
Taste: 3 (watery)
Body: 3 (typical for beer of this style)
Finish: 3 (not much at all.....)
Price/Value: 7 (at $4.69/6-pack)
Total Beer Guy Score: 21/60

General Notes:
The number one selling beer in the word slide by with little taste, but I don't think that's really the point.  It's refreshing, not filling, and is a staple of picnics, beaches, and fraternity parties

I'd Drink It When:  I needed something cheap for drinking games, or didn't mind sharing with a crowd.  Everyone likes it.

Molson Canadian

Brewed by: Molson Canada
Country of Origin: Canada
Beer Style: Pale Lager

Ratings (1-10 scale) and notes:
Aroma: 2 (not much at all)
Appearance: 4 (fair color, decent head)
Taste: 4 (neither bad nor noteworthy, but aftertaste lingers)
Body: 3 (typical for beer of this style)
Finish: 5 (lingers.....)
Price/Value: 6 (at $5.29/6 pack, on par with domestics)
Total Beer Guy Score: 24/60

General Notes:
Not bad, but there are other imported Canadian beers out there I'd rather spend my money on.  I know this is a staple of Canada like Grizzly Bears and Mounties, but it's hard to discern what the fuss is over.

I'd Drink It When:  I was actually in Canada.  It's inexpensive, but one can do better unless you're trying to fit in.  If you brought this to a party, people would laugh.  Trust me.

Moosehead Lager

Brewed by: Moosehead Breweries, Ltd.
Country of Origin: Canada
Beer Style: Pale Lager

Ratings (1-10 scale) and notes:
Aroma: 3 (slight, but pleasing)
Appearance: 4 (nice color, good head)
Taste: 5 (good balance)
Body: 3 (typical for beer of this style)
Finish: 7 (clean)
Price: 6 (at $5.49/6 pack, its a good option)
Total Beer Guy Score: 28/60

General Notes:
I'm a fan of the stuff, frankly.  I find it much better tasting than the domestic lagers - and it's not as 'thin.'  The taste is a little strong for the Coors Light crowd, but it's a nice change of pace.  Can be difficult to find.

I'd Drink It When: Good for casual functions.  Not something I'd order at a restaurant, but fine for watching the game or kicking around on a Saturday with friends.
